The GUM-10 Vegetable or Nakiri Knife is specifically designed to cut all kinds of vegetable, thanks to the extra thick flat blade made from Global’s exclusive CROMOVA 18 high carbon stainless steel.
The blade - which has 10% extra sharpness out of the box compared to Global’s classic knives – encourages an ‘up and down’ cutting motion, compared to the rocking motion of curved blades such as chefs knives and santoku knives. This makes it the ideal tool for finely chopping or slicing all kinds of vegetable.
Also unique to the UKON range are the extra-thick blade design for added performance and a dual-textured handle surface for superior grip and precision while cutting.
